Code of conduct - GDPR

We have drawn up this code of conduct to explain in detail the way in which we process your personal data. This is within the framework of the "General Data Protection Regulation", which came into force on the 25th of May 2018. Here is therefore, in the full transparency, how we use your personal data while respecting your privacy.

1. What information do we collect?

We collect your personal contact details such as Name, First name, address, Email, Date of birth, Telephone number, ... These data are recorded in our database when you create a customer account or when you place an order on our website using a small form.

We also save information though cookies that allow to follow your browsing, save your basket, recognize you on your next visit and secure your connection.

Finally, we record the information about you obtained through  third party services such as our Facebook page, contact form, registration for our newsletter, participation in contests, commercial actions or navigation data.

 2. How do we use this data?

These personal data allows to efficiently process the sales contract that you conclude with us when you place an order on our eShop. We can deliver your package to the correct address, or contact you personally if there is a problem with your order.

We then use this data to inform you about our latest news (new tutorials, sewing tips, blog articles, ...) and our temporary commercial offers (promotions, gifts, ...). You receive this information through various channels:

- directly by browsing to our website

By visiting our home page and on our blog, you will regularly find new information and commercial offers of our products.

- by email when subscribed to our Newsletter

Each week, we send you an email informing you about our products and novelties, special promotions, latest news (participation at fairs, news on the blog), our contests. You receive this information by email only if you have previously subscribed to our Newsletter and have thus given your consent. If you no longer wish to receive our promotional emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email or by contacting us directly by email or by telephone.

 Les Tissus du Chien Vert records your browsing data when you browse through our online store or when you click on links. This information is collected by means of a cookie installed on our website. This way we can inform you about more specific products or services that you will see on advertising spaces belonging to third parties such as Google or Facebook. You receive this advertising information only if you have accepted the use of cookies on your connected device. An information banner indicates the presence of this technology when you enter our website. These data are then saved on your web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, ...). You have the option of deactivating the use of cookies or deleting those saved in your browser settings.

- in our statistical studies 

Finally, we use your data as part of statistical studies allowing us to improve our products and services on a daily basis. For example, we produce a monthly report illustrating the effectiveness  of our promotional actions, measuring the effectiveness of some of our products, if there is a possible drop in visitors to some of our web pages, etc.

3. Secure and confidential management of your data

When you access our website, the url "shop.chienvert.com" is preceded by the protocol "https: //": this protocol means that our website has received its authentication certificate allowing us to offer secured financial transactions. Your personal and banking data are encrypted in order to avoid possible malicious actions.

All personal information collected is managed exclusively by the company T. G. F. SA Les Tissus du Chien Vert. Only those responsible for our customer and marketing service have access to this information which they ony use in their respective tasks.

The personal data collected remains strictly confidential. At no point do we sell, rent or share this information with other people or businesses.

4. You want to control you data

Of course you have rights on the information we store about you. You have the right to an access, to modify and to delete your personal data.
