DIY - Moon cushion

I suggest you sew a pretty shaped cushions that can perfectly decorate a child's room or a play room. Here is the moon cushion tutorial!

To sew the moon cushion you will need :

• 2 cloths of 40x40 cm

You choose yourself in terms of fabric types depending on the desired texture as well as colors and patterns. For this cushion I chose on one side in OEKOTEX® cotton with flowers ByLéa and the other side in curly wool.

• A pair of scissors 
• Patchwork clips or pins
• Synthetic filling
• The pattern to download

Step 1 : Cut the shapes

Download and print your shape. Transfer the pattern to your fabrics and cut out the front and back sides.

Step 2 : assemble the sides of the cushion

Pin the two pieces right sides together then sew, leaving an 8cm opening. Notch the edges especially in the angles to make the setup easy. 

Turn the piece over and insert the stuffing before closing it with a blind stitch. 

Your moon cushion is ready !
