Sew your Halloween pacifier clip
Step 1: Cutting and assembling
Cut your pieces using the pattern.

Place the right sides together, making sure to insert the ribbon between them. Fold the ribbon in on the head side and sew around leaving an opening in the wing so you can turn the piece inside out.

Fold in the ribbon (head side) and sew the edges leaving an opening in the wing to turn it inside out.

Tip: clip the corners and curves for a cleaner finish when turning.
Once turned, it should look like this:

Step 2: Stuffing and topstitching
Stuff through the opening to give it the desired volume, then topstitch to draw the bat wing veins.

Step 3: The clip
On the end of the ribbon, make a double-fold hem and sew a buttonhole or attach a fastener of your choice. Here, we used a snap button.

→ For the keychain version, just make a smaller loop at the end of the ribbon.
Step 4: Finishing touches and embroidery
Add a few embroidery stitches to give your bat a funny expression. You can also sew on small buttons for the eyes. Have fun!

Congratulations! Your hand-sewn bat pacifier clip is ready for Halloween!

See you soon,
