Our fabric shop in Liège (Hognoul) is located in a former warehouse. To enliven this huge 1,200 square metre hangar, we needed the verve and audacity of a true navigator's style.
We came up with a 17-metre long and 17 ton sketch that naturally found its place in the centre of the building, after we had dismantled the front.
We inserted it in a mezzanine inspired from the landing stages in Ostend.
The landing stage enables the visitor to walk through this wonderful ship.
Our fabrics lie around the ship.
What kind of fabrics will you find in our fabric shop in Liège ?
On the starboard side, you find cotton in large widths, in over 100 colours.
On the port side, you will find a vast collection of woollen fabrics to make clothes with.
At the bow, you discover our range of clothing fabrics (cotton, jersey cloths, etc) as well as the "magic trees" wearing printed cloths, Jacquard and other furniture fabrics in large widths.
At the back of the landing stage, you will discover the kids' corner and the “puces du chien”, dedicated to our high fashion clients from Liege, who are demanding and always looking for good deals.
The landing stage is obviously exclusive to silk, our designers and leatherette.
In the shop window we have put a small 9-metre long sailing yacht, accessible by a bridge, which seems to float on water.
On the other side, elegant scenery enhanced by lighting from a central crystal light presents our designs from all our collections.
In conclusion, the organisation and the presentation of our cloths and fabrics form a successful result, even if the ship may be a bit large...
